Using China Paints for Polymer clay figurines No oven
In this video I'm sharing with all of you for the first time what I have been using to paint my polymer clay figurines for years. This method of mine took lots of time, practice and a lot of trial and error. I'm only asking for the appreciation for this video. Subscribe to my art channel give thumbs up and comments will all be acknowledge.
Please read below important.

Supplies used in this tutorial
China paints (Maryland China) (Seeley) food grade meaning no lead
Flesh tint
baby blue
brown
pompador (sometimes)
blushing (cheek blush)
Pearl Turquoise (Lumier) used for eyeliner
Bombay India Inks
Pen Oil
Area Oil or you can use scented oils
Hot blow dryer I wouldn't recommend a heat gun. You want slow drying and not as hot as heat gun. You will have better results if you take your time and let the paint dry slow with the blow dryer. This is just my experience.
As always be in a well vented area and use a mask when using oils. I mentioned in the video you can use scented oils. Gloves to protect skin.
Disclaimer when using any kind of medium do your research just as I did for myself. This method did not just happen over night for me. I have been using china paints well before polymer clay so I already had a back ground with them. Not all mediums are for everyone. Polymer clay is toxic as well.

    وقتی خمیر رو فشار میدی که مثلا حدقه چشم رو ایجاد کنی، خمیر از جای دیگه ای سر در میاره و این باعث میشه فرم اولیه ات خراب شود.به نظر من باید برای ایجاد حفره با ابزار مخصوص اون نقطه را خالی کنی و برعکس اگر میخواهی جایی برجسته شود باید خمیر اضافه کنی، با این روش اندازه های اولیه ات به هم نمی خورد. از ایران هستم.

    You said 'here is the wax with the baking soda' that came out of this piece here', what baking soda? did you add baking soda to the melted wax? how much, etc thank you

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond 2 роки тому

      The baking soda is there for the wax to melt in. Or you can use an oven bowl to catch the wax. Then you can use the wax over. The baking soda prevents my clay from cracking when cooking.

    • @iteeshollow
      @iteeshollow 2 роки тому

      @@fairysnmypond So you put the baking soda in a bowl, or something and set the piece in it with the hole down so the wax melts out and in the baking soda? Thank you very much. I think i need to make a 3 inch bjd for a book nook. I am not looking forward to this part. I have carved wood before but it was over 30 years ago, lol. I dont think i have the patience to do this tiny creature. I will give it a couple tries, i like the idea of making it from slulpy first instead of using it to cover air dry last. Only needs to bend at shoulders, elbows and knees, maybe will use some kind of bead, for the joints. Just starting out so watching videos to see if i can even get started on it. How does the baking soda prevent the cracking? i know you said the wax slowly melts out so no air to crack the clay,

    Thankyou so much for taking the time to share your skills. This is just the information I need for my fairy dolls. I do want to pass on some information to you, that I have discovered. It looks like you are felting into floral oasis. Unfortunately floral oasis dust is carcinogenic. I would recommend switching to foam rubber. Love and light to you and happy creating.

      The floral oasis just gives me a base to lay the rubber cap that I'm felting into. I have the video making the rubber cap. The floral oasis is not any part of hair or cap. Hope this explains what I'm doing.

I do understand what they are about, but I wrote about the oasis because I am concerned about your health. I also used to use oasis in my art, until I discovered that it is dangerous.
